anewman
Yes that's correct, a dozen or so lads were thrown out by police for singing in the west upper. That club is a fucking disgrace
Cheshirewhite
Hope the club refund their money, they could give them a free half season ticket but that would add to the punishment !!

Site Supporter MickyD Posted December 27, 2012 Site Supporter Share Posted December 27, 2012 WSL exactly same. Consistent standing on the back row of a seated area, when every away supporter and half the ES\L patrons are stood is pathetic.
Mike Hunt
Read 3 thrown out and the rest left of their own accord, but massive overreaction from stewards and police Thrown out of a football ground for singing? Disgrace, no wonder home games are becoming so sterile

EyesRight
Anewman, contact the club and see what they can do for you. My parents sit in the WSU near where you were thrown out and they were saying it was ridiculous. Apparently someone had made a complaint about the language, but why didn't the stewards just relocate you or turn a blind eye, you are at the football, you're going to hear foul language. It's not like you were doing it in the designated family ends (WSL and NS).

wayne cramp
watched it happen, it was pathetic , then after the lads had been turfed out a couple of the werthers brigade were walking over to the stewards as if to thank them - a bloke and some blonde who were sat to the left of the lads,
Moderators Casino Posted December 27, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2012 (edited) watched it happen, it was pathetic , then after the lads had been turfed out a couple of the werthers brigade were walking over to the stewards as if to thank them - a bloke and some blonde who were sat to the left of the lads, the werthers brigade who possibly sit there every week while 'lads' should be able to have their fun, so should others anybody thinking anybody got chucked out for singing is very naive, imo foul language drunkenness being abusive would all figure in my top 5 possibles ahead of 'singing' am i wrong? famouswanderer
And if it was your parents people were effing and jeffing in front of? Going to a football game you have to expect there will be some bad language. its a passionate sport still (for most of us) and things will be said in the heat of the moment. Aslong as they weren't swearing at my parents i wouldnt give a flying fuck.

MACCA
Not enough like minded people Jay. Too many t*ssers turn up at the Reebok. If you show any passion the fans, never mind the stewards, are on your back. Losing all interest in it for that reason!
