After watching the highlights to see how rubbish mears was again on Sky Sports website it came to my attention that we actually have the worst away record in the Championship. As a result did some number crunching as far back as Wembley as most people say thats when our slump started. Fair enough for the last 18 months our home form hasnt been good enough but away from home needs seriously addressing with only 2 wins at Wednesday and Blackburn.

League football Away

Played 35, Won 8, Drawn 6, Lost 21, Scored 45, Concided 76, Clean Sheets 1 (QPR),

Burnley have scored and concided exactly the same but have 4 wins, Next worst records are Bristol City and Barnsley, Hence why there in the bottom 3.

Cup Football isnt much better but at least theres been clean sheets along the way at Millwall and Aston Villa but 3 Clean sheets in total away in 20 months shows were we are going wrong.

On another note DROP MEARS! :@

Jeez, you are right I didn't know we had the worst away record in the league.I suppose it takes a "special " team to not only lose at Peterborough but ship 5 in.

Struggling with the concept of spending thousands following a club meaning that you should expect success? Is that really why folk do it or is it loyalty to a cause (knowing that the good times always come round again eventually and the shit times are what make the good ones so special).

If spending the money following your club means success must be guaranteed, the whole of football would be fucked. For there to be winners, there have to be losers. Someone has to be out of pocket and pissed off somewhere.

The levels of expectation certainly change as seasons change.

Who remembers the game at Sarfend during the 99 points 100 goals season. It was a mere blip in an otherwise great season. Expecting to win every game then was churlish in the extreme.

Expecting to win every game during this, a fairly poor season, is a little short of pathetic. We all need to realise our current team is not quite as good on grass as it was reported on paper. That we play on grass, not paper, means we're going to lose lots between now and the end of the season.

I don't expect to win, I don't expect to draw, and I dont expect to lose, what I do expect is a decent performance, i except shit times n off days but we've been actually outplayed only by a few teams this season, hull n brighton in particular. the rest  weve been very below par, goals don't seem be an issue or when were on the ball but off the ball were nervous and panicky, hence why were concided on average 2 a game away from home and haven't kept a clean sheet for over a year and god knows how many penaltys. End of the day there on a wedge and they should be able put 100% in but they just aren't and if you seriously think they've been playing at an acceptable level think you need your eyes testing.

Again I dont expect success, I expect a performance, and again my view is they need get there head out there arses n rough teams up, everyones bullying us all over the pitch, 2nd to everything n bottle out of 50/50 challenges

They have as much scope to improve their performances as you have to improve your spelling.

Let's hope for a double!

::lol:: and that's why your a virgin

If that's your attempt at humour it's pathetic.

If you believe it then my impression of you has sunk somewhat.

Why not just make an effort and avoid stupid and gratuitous comments?

I bet there not many clubs of our stature can boast an value for entertainment such as our over the past 20 years.....

2 league cup finals,one semi.

2 Fa cup semi finals,a couple of quarters.

2 giant killing cup runs

4 promotions

4 play-off finals

1 lost play-off semi

2 season in Europe

4 relegations

...All worth ever single penny!
