snowball Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Sordell seems to score those scrappy goals that come from just getting the ball on target no matter how, back of head, under the goalkeeper, sticking a foot out etc.. Nearly all his goals so far have had me wondering how they went in. Could be just what we need. Quote

Nearly all his goals so far have had me wondering how they went in. Could be just what we need. At first glance, I thought his second goal against Sunderland was exactly that. But, on more viewings, it's actually a really good turn and shot that caught the keeper by surprise. His header in the first game against Sunderland was really well placed, and his penalty was pretty decent. So... long story short... Watchoo talking about Willis? Quote
Traf Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Rather be lucky than good. Really? Luck always runs out. Quote
Members DazBob Posted January 19, 2013 Members Posted January 19, 2013 Really? Luck always runs out. Some strikers have a habit of being 'lucky' all through their career. I remember Ferguson (paraphrasing) saying that Inzaghi was shit and was merely always lucky. Quote
jules_darby Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Luck doesn't run out if it's consistent Cos then it ain't luck As my old mentor used to say, it's where opportunity meets preparation If it is sporadic and inconsistent, maybe it is just luck Quote
