tomski Posted March 20, 2013 Author Posted March 20, 2013 moss bank pm andybwfc for details Ta. Quote
Pablo Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Strikerz http://www.strikerz.co.uk/ Belting set up. My lad is at Moss Bank. Good club, but poor pitches. I would advise joining a club that has its own picthes, or play on 3g. They play more football. Quote
tomski Posted March 20, 2013 Author Posted March 20, 2013 Is he in year 3 at school ?? No year 2. Quote
Pablo Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 No year 2. Then you need to get him to Strikerz. Beltin set up. Its Dave Flitcrofts club. They play on 3g and Astro, or have inside Tourneys when weather is too bad. They have 2 cracking teams for your sons age, the link is above, give them a bell. Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) Try and pick a club that has the FA charter mark accreditation this means managers are qualified coaches and have had all relevant checks. Edited March 20, 2013 by Mounts Kipper Quote

They are close to buying a factory in view to converting into indoor facilities. cant knock that for ambition. Strikerz getting some flack from those hearing 2nd hand stories, imo ovcourse. Pablo Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I remember a thread on here a while back saying oxford grove was a stay clear jobby, it may have been you Pablo? Probably was. Dont get me wrong, some of the teams are good, and most of the coaches n managers are good, but its run poorly, ans is obsessed with money, and not willing to spend any. Also, shocking pitches. Sounds too serious for kids this age, but all depends on what you want out of it. If you want reliable mangers & coaches, backed by clubs, and have enough footballs, kits and training equipment to go round, you want to look at Strikers, CMB, ladybridge, Moss Bank. All good clubs. Strikerz has almost a profesional set up, with ex pros and current Prem coaches & scouts involved in different levels of the club. Quote
