horrendous this

although it may not be as pretty on the eye to some, but mma is so much safer as a sport

RIP

It’s ok saying it’s so much safer. Tell us how.

it's the continuous blows to the head, fights going on longer than they need to

in mma, you drop your opponent and finish it with a few strikes or submit them, fight over, in boxing these blows can land over and over for 12 rounds

you're better off being hit with a 4oz glove than a 12oz over & over, gloves are there to protect the hands, not the opponent

you never hear of mma fighters ending up with brain damage or in wheel chairs or tragically dying like you do in boxing

michael bisping did a piece on it on talksport with that clown simon jordan a few weeks back

hope this makes sense

Well, today I’ve learned boxing gloves are to protect the wearer, not the recipient. I genuinely didn’t know that.

I'm not sure that any activity that involves punching your opponent in the head until his brain sends signals to his legs to give way should be classed as sport.

It’s where I’m at.

See Amir Khans Cousin Abdul is making a name for himself in the boxing world.

Wonder if he will get the same backing as Jack Cullen from our Bolton based boxing fans?

What colour is his dad's hair?

To be fair Jack's following are pretty much everyone from little lever who knows him 🤣

There’s a young pro called Alex Murphy (3-0) who’s a wanderers season ticket holder. He’s been self promoting lately on FB trying to get some fans in. Fair play to him it would be good if some of our fans could get down and watch him in his next fight which is at the Reebok on the 30th July .

Really? At the arena or ground? Might be a night out on the cards...
