May 21, 201313 yr Sunlun's players have called in the PFA to complain about Di Canio's fining and disciplining of players. Gordon Taylor's reckoning there are rules that should be adhered to when it comes to fines/discipline/etc, whereas others may think footballers who post pictures of themselves rolling around in wads of cash after a dreadful season is distasteful. What do we think? Is it about time someone slapped down these players and made them act more responsibly, or is it not his (or anyone else's) place to do so? Edited May 21, 201313 yr by DazBob
May 21, 201313 yr I may be a bit hypercritical as I'm all for it. But wouldn't be so keen for it at our place.
May 21, 201313 yr Di Canio is one of them that's amusing to watch from the outside, but if he was in charge of us, it would wear thin very quickly
May 21, 201313 yr attention seeking fuckwit wouldn't say he's a breath of fresh air I imagine many managers have been doing this for years but if Sunderland's haven't, no wonder they don't like it
May 21, 201313 yr Attention Seeking Fuckwit. He's the new Ian Holloway. This Can't be doing with the wop
May 21, 201313 yr As BWFC87 says - in the unlikely event he was at our club, it'd soon wear thin, with the players even more so. That said, the Dioufy-lovers would probably have been over the moon. Regarding using discipline/fear these days, it arguably doesn't really work anymore. Take for example FSA, he had an air of quiet menace about him, and didn't seem to have a 'ruffling feather and kicking arses into touch' approach anyway - but could probably walk the walk if needed be, I don't reckon' DI Canio could. I'd expect Di Canio to end up getting flattened by a player next season, or sacked fairly soon - players simply won't play for him until he's sacked if he upsets the likkle loves. Playing to the gallery - as he was with his infamous 'salute' to the Lazio Ultras...A Holloway-esque Bellend - can't get odds on the Sack race for next season yet, I expect he'll be quite short. May 21, 201313 yr speaking of Dioufy he got twated in some pisstones in is back water country he is from “A man called Thierry and a friend beat him up in the toilets for at least ten minutes. They gave him a going-over.” http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4935773/El-Hadji-Diouf-beaten-up-in-Senegal.html#ixzz2Tw623sQ7 Ten minutes? What did they beat him up with? Feather dusters?
May 21, 201313 yr Ten minutes? What did they beat him up with? Feather dusters? He just needed a one arrow. The cock. And as for the fines, irrelevant of it being Di Canio or any other 'wop' or whitie, some fucker needs to be telling footballers some fortunes.
May 21, 201313 yr So they can act like the worst kind of gangsta rapper twat - whether ironically or not, as long as they do the business on the pitch? I couldn't give a f*ck what they get up to in their personal lives - within reasonable limits. I think some of those gillets and other stuff they wear is extremely offensive but don't get overwrought about it He's a f*cking cock (Di Canio) that was probably a complete pain in the arse for various managers/coaching staff and directors/chairmen during his playing career, now he's poacher turned gamekeeper...He'll be found out and out on his arse before Christmas. May 21, 201313 yr In fairness, if I was kicking fuck out of Diouf, I'd still be at it well past the 10 minute mark. I'd never get tired of jumping on that cunt's head.
May 21, 201313 yr you can think di canio is a cock and think footballers needing taking down a peg or two problem is, they've got so much power, only the likes of ferguson can kick them
May 21, 201313 yr You could argue the boo-ers, twitter twats and other assorted c*nts assaulting them in pubs are at the vanguard of taking them down a peg or two then? I think the ship has sailed on that one many years ago. I do take heart in hearing tales of the likes of a certain signing of ours (for about twenty minutes) who've ended their playing career then gone on to blow their cash on bing, slags and cards - ending up relatively skint...It's a sad fact that even mediocre players are set for life - and many of them are complete c*nts to boot, yet there's plenty hangers-on and magic bean salesmen around to ensure that, even in this day and age, many end up with hardly any cash left after they've finished. I do think they're all a bit vacuous and insipid anyway - they've got all that cash yet seem to while away their time playing consoles, on twatter, ganging up for semi-homosexual sex rapes or getting someone to scrawl on their arms and necks. Money can't buy a lot of things - fuck 'em. Edited May 21, 201313 yr by Youri McAnespie
May 21, 201313 yr Never managed at a high level. It's already showing. They'll drop like a stone next year,
May 21, 201313 yr They'll drop like a turd next year, Won't they be winners then though, with Di Canio manager of the century?
May 21, 201313 yr I'm not sure about Di Canio, but shirley it's up to individual clubs to impose their own discipline rules. It's about time some of these high paid "fuck you jack" players where brought back to earth with a a fucking big kick up the backside. And as a side issue I've just come back from Rome Mr. Mussolini did a fine job in some respects, politics aside. Edited May 21, 201313 yr by buckhurstwhite
