Must See Tv

The Returned - starts 9pm Sunday,Channel 4

After a coach crash in an Alpine viillage 4 years previous, the victims start turning up in the village. Not your usual sort of flesh eating zombie genre.

These undead people are actually normal and don't know they're dead, whereas the locals in the village think it's a miracle they're back and alive.

This is an unmissable series

  • I think I need to stop reading this thread as I quite fancy watching this, but if I read any more then I won't need to watch it, given Miami seems to be retelling the entire episode

Looking forward to this, I cant watch Kyle, but see how it goes on.

That body what was never found in Billinge, he knew, and never cocked up.

First episode of Ray Donovan was interesting....think I'll keep watching

The Wire S1, ep1 Sky Atlantic on now for anyone who's missed it. Definitely worth a series record.

Yes and an English and American set of episodes too.

Superbad on Comedy Central now

Perfect Sunday evening viewing

what a shit ending

I was going to abandon it part way through the series due to some of the wooden acting and ponderous nature of the 'plot' but i persevered just to see whether there was a twist at the end. I should have known better. Over hyped rubbish.

Thought it was top notch personally. Dipped a bit mid season, but thought the last episode was great.

Missus thought it was spot on, I wasn't so sure. Depends if they get the ending right. Why didn't they want to take Serge or his mum at the end?

Fellt like the writers had a great concept, but when it boiled down to how to end the series they simply had no idea.

Weak to say the least.

Extremely disappointed.

I've just watched the final episode a few minutes ago. I was hoping for som much more. I've actually enjoyed the series, but the final episode was just not very good

Yep, got to say the ending was underwhelming after promising so much.

7 great episodes followed by a flat last one. I'll forgive them if series 2 ties it all together.

Started with this earlier on and now in middle of episode 3. Victor and the nosy neighbour are freaking me out. Great stuff mind.

That Victor is one creepy little bugger  -  I'm a bit confused by him though, as he's clearly "returned" before, as it was him that caused the coach crash (as shown in the first episode)

I haven't watched this, but isn't it the norm to write these things as they go along - to prevent 'spoilers' being leaked? Also because they'll tend to keep churning out series after series if something is successful?

It started with that 'Lost' a few years back I reckon' - this kind of thing. They usually end up with the storyline meandering along like they're making it up as they go along (which they possibly are), a bit like that one about the US Soldier who was/wasn't a terrorist sleeper...

A young Robbie Williams

Yep, enjoying this

Jon Voight is good

Watched the last episode last night and I too am underwhelmed.  I will probably still tune in next series though.

I'll be tuning in to see if they answer any of the myriad of questions that I still have buzzing around my head

I very much doubt that anyone could answer any of those.

'Top of the Lake' is must see TV. Great cast, great acting and an intriguing plot.
