leigh white Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Avoided Grantham like the plague for obvious reasons, it was the last place I wanted to go when at Nottingham station when your mates shout you over to board the train when it was due out any minute, thanks lads for getting me on the wrong train. no balls Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 So, where did you end up then, half a story Harry? Quote
leigh white Posted June 11, 2013 Author Posted June 11, 2013 On the non league wankathon, this years event was in Nottingham, the two dozy wankers I was with after a mega sesh in town with a gathering from all over the place decided to board a train what came in late, i had gone to the bog, to find them shouting to get on. Yeah, I got on, a non stop train in the wrong direction. Landed back home on Sunday. Quote
leigh white Posted June 11, 2013 Author Posted June 11, 2013 Middlesborough. It's just awful. I bet you have been though, I don't think i would chance a visit to Redcar for a few scoops in the local pubs. Quote

I was summonsed to court as some woman said her kid'd melted in some tracksuit bottoms when she dropped her lambert on them, so it was my fault. I try to avoid it for the football for fear of flashbacks. Quote

leigh white Posted June 11, 2013 Author Posted June 11, 2013 Shirebrook I think i went through the place on a green E Midlands bus in my youth, i never got off, the place looked like it was possessed. Quote
Ghana White Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Redcar one of the most depressing places I've been too. They have false shop fronts because so many are empty. Always freezing as well. I'd like to add Dewsbury to the list and Rochdale. Whitley bay was depressing too. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Dover. Stayed the night before heading over to France 98 World Cup. Awful place Quote
freds dad Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 East Kilbride. I worked there for 6 months and that was 6 months too many. Awful purpose built concrete town full of porridge eating, English hating, skirt wearing Jocks. Quote
