I'll always give amateur writers' stuff a try if it's in my area of interest (and some have been incredible reads) but fucking hell... Currently reading "First Light" by Geoffrey Wellum, he ended up flying Spitfires in the Battle of Britain at 19 years old. Incredible story, and saw some brutal things during those dogfights. Although a book about escaping Auschwitz might not be anyone's idea of a holiday book. Digital Minimalism is a good un too. Audible is a godsend.
