There's an actual picture of it on the website now.

 

To be unveiled on 27th August.

 

You can still purchase bricks for the surrounding.

 

Could someone do the honours with the picture, I don't know how.

I am. But, from the images I have seen, I have been underwhelmed. If this great mans representation is going to be outside our ground it has to be better that brilliant.

I like it ... only criticism is he should be in action like Hughie McIlmoyles statue at Carlisle where he is shown heading a ball

Is the lack of bulk down to cost cutting on the thing?

 

Like the 'look', just seems a bit out of proportion.

 

Can it replace the Fred Dibnah one in town?

Has somebody got the original photo that was based on?

It might just be me, but it doesn't look like Nat.

Looks as much like Lofthouse as the one in town looks like Dibnah and that fcuk all.

I can see the likeness but it looks more like Jimmy Armfield.

 

Overall it looks to be a fitting tribute, looking forward to seeing it.

It might just be me, but it doesn't look like Nat.

 

Think it's this one, or a similar one to this.
