Widnes Two Hats
I'm going 14th July, not sure about the standard of racing but if you can dig me some winners out nearer the time Traf. that will be jolly useful

Maggie Tate
Helping myself to a week driving round Ireland later in the year doing different races each day. They always look rum places. Down Royal and Dundalk were normal enough but Downpatrick, there was skullduggery bubbling under there.
Traf
Get yourself to Laytown in September. I'm hoping to be there too this year.
Maggie Tate
Alas I'll be spending September somewhere also with a lot of sand. Missed it last year due to a murder unfortunately!
leigh white
http://www.laytownstrandraces.ie/ First time I ever saw the races was in a pub in Colwyn Bay about eight years ago, I had to rub my eyes seeing it live on the telly. leigh white
Superb place, Mick. Get there if you get chance. Went Drogheda in 95 for a day out with my son on a train ride from Dublin, and never knew racing took place in the area, all the locals talked about Oliver Plunketts yed in the pubs. A bad time to go that year just after the riots at the footy, and barmen giving you short shrift in the pubs.
