Bournemouth V Real Madrid

Real are to lay Bournemouth in a pre season friendly but it's £60 a ticket.

Who would pay this if we played Real at the Reebok?

No I watch the real galaticos week in week out. Rip off, but I imagine it will sell with the small stadium etc. So it could be argued its genius pricing.

Iamoot

What's the betting that Rosie redknapp owns a percentage of "Bournemouth ticket master" for friendly matches?

Id pay that for a competitive game against one of europes elite, but not a friendly.

Only the away leg.

£55 for season ticket holders!

£60 for a friendly? - that's madness. Especially as they may choose to play their "stiffs"

Chelsea normally relieve us of £50 plus to see us getting hammered.

We don't normally do to bad their, its the reebok they tan us.

I take it you weren't there the day we were relegated then.

We were woeful. Even Jody Morris tried to help us out.

Yeah I was their, wasn't thinking that far back to be honest. Don't think we've been walloped since the 5-1 few draws and losses by the odd goal if memory serves me well.

even won there when Mr Terry put Hendrik's cross in his own net in the last minute....anyhoo Real Madrid usually come over here to L.A. every year and these tight arse Yanks charge $50 just to watch them train for an hour  !!

I wouldn't pay anything over £20 unless there was a guarantee of a nasty injury to the greasy dmb prick then yes I would pay the going rate to watch that

If they fill half the ground at that compared to filling at £20 a ticket, it's cash in their pockets.

Also, petrol money will be high for Madrid down there. ;)

The ground holds 10,700 and it will be full.

If we say 4,000 ST holders (and I'm being generous there) at £50 a pop and 6,500 at £60, that's £590,000 in gate receipts, fuckity knows how many programmes at £3 a piece, and tapas etc etc

Yes, RM will get a "fee" for plying, but it could bankroll the club for a wee while.

£590,000 in gate receipts for a friendly as opposed to them getting 2,000 on against a Premiership team's reserves.

I wonder if CR7 breaks his leg in the game the fans will go apeshit at Ancelotti, like plenty of ours did when Chungy played at Newport.

After all, all small clubs' players are trying to impress, therefore seeking to cause injury...

Still banging on about that. We already know you bit on that one, you don't need to advertise the fact.

I thought a bite was when someone reacts to something posted merely as a wind-up?

I was also under the impression we had folk saying Holden and Vela should've been rested from the reserves against Oldham as they had a big game coming up, meaning their lads would obviously be trying to break all our players' legs in order to 'impress'.

Apologies in advance if I got that wrong.

£1m fee apparently

I think I'd pay £50-60 if we had a friendly against a team like Madrid or Barcelona.

We had a friendly against Barcelona B last August. Not their stars but a decent side with future stars. Bargain price tickets too. And what was the 'crowd' ?

And for the once-in-a-very-long-time friendly against Sao Paulo's Brazilians a few years back ?

I doubt people would half-fill the Reebok for a Real friendly even with modest prices. Just not interested.

I don't doubt it wouldn't be full, but I think I'd pay it.

From memory we only had 6,000 on for Barcelona B.

Attendance v Braga in the UEFA Cup - 10,848.

was only full v atletico because of cheap tickets
