If your trying to build muscle size protein shakes are pretty essential unless you want spend all day eating.

 

If your after losing weight,run around a lot and eat well.

 

Simples.

I don't think I'm going to bother with them. I will continue to train and eat as I have for the last 7 months. I've lost the weight required, just need to tone up a bit.

 

I will send my mate the Tapeworm ad.

You have to be careful not to do too much cardio without eating enough as your body will burn muscle before fat in these circumstances.

 

Eat well but healthy, low healthy carbs early on in the day so you burn them off. If your supplementing your diet with shakes then get the low carb diet whey.
