Sub Human Scum

Featured Replies

First day of my holibobs and there was a family who'd camped up round the pool. Lilos everywhere, a table dragged into a place that inconvenienced everyone else so they could sit around playing cards. As soon as I saw them I said to the bird, "Scousers, nailed on". They just had that 'look' that scousers have.

Anyway, as soon as we're in earshot I was proved right.

Later that night I'm on my blacony and I hear one of them below me talking to a nice old couple that he'd cornered. The conversation went like this...

Nice old couple: "Are you having a nice time?"

Scum: "Aye, it's fucking boss"

NOC: "It's a nice hotel isn't it?

Scum: "Yeah, and the lucky thing is we should've been elsewhere but they relocated us here. This place is fucking miles nicer."

NOC: "Oh, well that's lucky for you isn't it?"

Scum: "Yeah, but we're still putting a claim in though"

NOC: "Pardon? What for?"

Scum: "Well, it's what we do. Always do it. It's the game isn't it?! We always find a reason to put in a claim for compo, and we always get it. You just need to know who to talk to. We always just go straight to the top. You should try it." Fucking vermin.

Report them to the hotel management.

Has to be a wind up. It ticks a lot of stereotype boxes?

Ha, I swear it isn't.  He was also telling them how they all lived on the same street, apart from his Ma who lives around the corner.

Ha ha. They sound delightful.

Can you not inform the travel company of this conversation?

Not sure which I find most disturbing, the tale about the scoucers or a fully grown man saying holibobs

I'd love nothing more, but I have no idea who they travelled with ... and to have found that out I'd have had to strike up conversation with one of them and that wasn't going to happen in a million years.

They really were (as Tomski suggests) that absolute stereotypical scousers. All of them smoked (L&B I noticed), one of them was constantly on a bar run to make the most of the all inclusive, there was Ma and Pa, three sons and a daughter who all looked exactly the same, three teenage grandchildren, one of them a girl who was actually quite fit (30B) but did nothing but shout at her toddler and thought nothing of dragging him from the pool by one arm whilst holding a ciggie in the other.

Marina Skorpios.

Still tell the Management as they can keep it on record for when the claim comes in. If you point out some of the group they can get the details from the room number. I hate people like this.

Thinly veiled attempt to shoehorn the fact they've been on holiday thread.

I'm no longer there.

Besides, their claim will no doubt be against whichever operator they used, not the hotel.

I too hate folk who always believe it is 'their right' for financial reward when something doesn't turn out right.  Unfortunately it's not just Scousers.  I've seen it countless times on holidays including a time when we were in Turkey and going on a two day trip up into the mountains.  The coach turned up at our hotel and it wasn't big enough, so they had to send another.  This meant a delay of around 45 mins. One bloke (cockerney) was going absolutely apeshit at the rep saying it wasn't good enough and he expected some money back.  Cunt.

Have they had a minutes silence yet?

Have they had a minutes silence yet?

Unlikely, they're never fucking quiet on holiday.

Without being a holiday snob, why go on a package to Majorca? Flights twice a day from Manchester for about £5 on Ryanair, the bus is about two euros/quarter of an hour to Palma, and you can rent a really nice apartment/villa (easily sleeping four) off a local for about 40-80 Euros a night...

Then you won't be forced to slum it with scum like that* and those scousers too.

Edit: *That was a 'joke' about the 'nice old couple', not inferring Daz or his missus is scum. :)
