Can't complain about any of them today, a good profesional performance for a change, well done to every single 1 of them including Knight when he came on he did as he was told, win the headers and get shut

Well said. No let downs anywhere today and everyone played for the badge. Coywm!

He doesn't affect the game enough for me.

i know youre ex semi pro so know more than me

but

how much do you want him to affect the game

i'd say scoring the winner is a pretty big 'affect'

oh aye

i'd like to add that knight looked a different player - attacked every high ball

i guess if youre a freedman doubter you'd use the fact hes now going with ream and mills as something to hit him with

as a confirmed freedman fan i see it as evidence that hes going to be a top manager

if hes sat mills n ream down and said what he didn't like and IF theyve listened and responded, surely thats what management is all about

noticeable that of the 10 outfield players, hes signed 7 and the other 3 were going nowhere when he arrived

though, i don't doubt eagles will return and davies would be playing if fit

Just back....cracking day out !!!

Another proper committed team performance, organised & hard working, which forced the mistakes from Brum.

Nobody let us down (Pratley was poor on the ball, but still contributed to the team effort. If we decide to bring one of Eagles/ Chungy/Hall back in for the home games , for me, Pratley would be the one to go ) but a mention for the 3 loanees.. McNaughton was rock solid again, Danns was a good physical presence, covered lots of ground & had some nice touches, & Feeney was even better than on Tuesday & still going full pelt after 90 mins. When the pressure was on at the end, our breakaways were ace.

Good support as well. Quality more than quantity :)  EIEIEIO

I also think Danns is one of those players who's better without the ball and when the opposition in possession if you know what I mean.

V good save by bogdan but not sure what he was doing when he kicked it out foe a throw then went to kick it again to delay the throw, then looked lost the changed his mind and ran back

Big game v sheff weds next, be hard work watching it but reckon we can win it

I'm not knocking the goal

Or the work rate (Leicester fans noted that aspect of his game as his only positive attribute)

But I don't see Danns starting long term

Does scoring a goal mean he's good enough in isolation? We know that doesn't work

He gave the ball away often and was out of it for long spells. Today and Tuesday. True or not?

Delighted with the 3 points and performance from the team and management. It wasn't pretty but was dogged and determined and to see this with 3 relatively unknown loan signings is credit to them and the management. As Dougie said they're players with points to prove and up for the fight, which means so much more in this league than talent alone AKA Ngog, chungy, eagles etc. Sometimes football can be strange in that someone like Danns who wasn't overly effective with the ball was contributing to the team ethic and popped up with a goal.

Let's get a reputation for a team up for the battle and one that fears no one and one that rolls it's sleeves up who the going gets tough and in the short term I think Danns has a part to play once that's achieved we can then drop in the odd technically better player it's all about getting the balance of the team right.

Absolutely spot on. The loan players are being brought in to steady the ship. Lets get on a good run and hopefully the more gifted players will take this on board and as you say can be integrated to the team. As Dougie said before its about back to basics and working your nuts off. I particularly liked his after match comments about how he has had to be more of a leader than a manager in recent weeks. Hopefully we can put a run together.

Excellent result. Just watched my recording on Sky - performance looked much more committed (didn't see Blackpool game), some more incisive attacking at times (Feeney especially), Mills & Ream beginning to look the part (Mills on 3 yellows already though).

Lots to work on still - possession mainly.

Now to prove we've turned a corner at last by taking full advantage of 2 winnable home games coming up - performances & results.

In Sydney at the national scooter rally. Saw the result.

Sack the board, Gartside out, Freedman out, Beckford out.

Shiyte. We should have hammered that lot.
