I did warn folk on the tv thread. I can't watch shit like that without wanting to drive there and harm them. Which I know is unchristian as it's not their fault apparently

Poverty porn. It's this year's gypsy.

I can't watch any of those types of programmes, I don't like getting angry at the tv of an evening.

Zen & all that

Scum, absolute scum....as a landlord it puts you off renting to benefit claimants when such a few mindless idiots think they can play the game and screw you out of £000s

I looked at the trailer and thought the houses looked like shit tips.

Channel 4 have gone massively down in my estimation with their recent spate of programmes like this shit.

Its almost daily express levels of shit stirring.

No one would suggest there aren't some scrotes there, but only an idiot wouldn't realise much of it is either staged or edited to make it look as it does. Even some of the people in it have been complaining that they were duped. Apparently C4's production company told them it was a documentary on how communities stick together in adversity.

Looking forward to C4's series 'Tax Avoider Street', where we see chief executives of various large companies throwing money about like it was going out of fashion. Pouring champagne down the drain for effect, maybe setting fire to some notes in front of the homeless. Perhaps Gary Barlow could do the theme tune?

Be a logical next step.

This.

Funnily enough don't think it will get commissioned though.

Benefit fraud costs us about £2bn a year.

Tax evasion about £30bn.

Hmmm I wonder what we should focus on?

And, do these tax evaders actually COST us anything?

I'm not  condoning what they do, but I reckon they actually do put a fair bit into the coffers ... unlike these scrounging fuckers who've done nowt but take, take, take all their lives.

it has to be said that both 'sides' are breaking the law

evaders that is, not avoiders

but, those two thieving wastes of oxygen...fcking hell

I didn't bother looking it up but seem to remember HMRC quoting something like that.

Agree we should be tackling both. Unfortunately due to slashed budgets HMRC tend to go after easier targets.

It was on +1 when my lad walked in at 10:40pm, turned it off rapidly as he'd set off at 4:00am done a 400 mile round trip and a full 9 hrs on site.

Didn't fancy his boot going through the screen.
