I got mine on the last day of the cheapest deal and they told me we'd sold 8.5k. In total last year we sold 11 or 11.5k apparently, so maybe we won't be much behind that figure come the start of the season. Fair play to the fans if so. Just worked out this is my 24th season ticket. First was in the Lever End in 83 and I think it cost 28 quid - so credit to the club on kids' ticket prices today - they're only about double what they were 30 years ago. There are probably a lot if DF dislikers who haven't/won't renew (I know of three from conversations in local). We get off to a good start and I can see us hitting the 20k mark for homes games around Xmas, Mind you, on he other hand if we don't.... Mounts Kipper Posted May 25, 2014 Share Posted May 25, 2014 (edited) We have to start fast next season I've spoke to a lot of long time fans and there is a massive undercurrent of ill feeling towards Freedman I think some is justified but I'm going into this season with a clean slate but from what I hear the sharp knifes will be out very very early if we don't start on fire from day one. I hope those who have not yet renewed give it at least one more go before sacking the season ticket every penny is important now FFP is coming into play.
