bgoefc Posted July 22, 2014 Share Posted July 22, 2014 I don't get the animosity towards Gerrard and Lampard etc. Best of their generation and both always gave 100% to the cause. World class? Probably not, but the best we had at the time. Whose international progress have they hindered? Quite right. Shame we did'nt have a Mascherano to sit behind them in front of the back four.
