And the 86m they spent on wages. Drop in the ocean considering the success they have though year in year out I guess.

West ham 20M+ less.

We have wasted money defo, are shite...and massively under-acheiving.

But this is the first time west ham has been above us for years...so I wouldn't get too excited about that.

What should you be achieving?

Seriously

A tad higher than 10th...maybe 5th - 8th.

because thats where the wage bill sits.

but, we finish were we deserve to finish, no mater how its painted by us or anyone.

Unless its top 4, its all a but meh anyway.

Not excited just highlighting it.

leeds wage bill really surprised me considering how they’ve done. Bielsa is a top notch manager.

if your lot don’t get dyche they’ve missed a trick.

Bielsa has worked fkin wonders. Not sure many teams ever have got that output with that wage base, fair play to him and them.

So massively under achieving is the difference between 8th and 10th?

Well 8th would have been ok, and a decent season. I did say 5th - 8th, realistically...would say thats fair really.

we could finish higher, its a fine line. We are not that much worse than Leicester really...took 4 points off them this season. After top 2/3 not much difference.

Lille might disagree

Crazy season in france, great to see really.

although without knowing the numbers....sure they are not in the bottom 3 in the league, wage wise.

Like I said....we took 4 points off them.

And we finished as close to 2nd as we did 14th.

it really is a fine line, and not much between many of those in the top 10.

Imo that shows how weak the league is after the top 2/3.

Sheff Utd took three points off Man Utd

Can't see there being many comparisons between the two teams

Bielsa has done an amazing job at Leeds.

He’s had some tough spells at lazio (as in didn’t happen) Lille and Marseille granted but the things he’s done at Bilbao, Chile, Newells beforehand show he’s class.

His teams play great football, I’m amazed his credentials get analysed but David Moyes (WW hero) is seen as a great for nearly qualifying for the champions league with West Ham once.

If fan polls were run at every club of who they’d want as next manager and it was a straight shoot out of them 2 Moyes wouldn’t get 20%

Tomski has an odd aversion to successful British managers such as Moyes, McCarthy and Pulis.  It's a hard one to fathom.
