Tomski has an odd aversion to successful British managers such as Moyes, McCarthy and Pulis.  It's a hard one to fathom.

There were a lot of Toffee noses that were anti Moyes... Its worked out splendidly for them since he left. 😁

Shows that saying we took x points off a team doesn’t highlight being not far off them

Sheff united finished 51 points behind united.

we finished 6 points from Leicester.

its chalk n cheese ffs

It’s a meaningless point

Chelsea lost 5-2 to West Brom, it doesn’t mean West Brom are suddenly up there amongst Europe’s elite

Saying “we were six points off Leicester” is scraping the barrel especially when every other team between you and them has a better argument

nope, its context on the season and a more realistic measure of ‘how far off’ other teams we are.

its a fine line, 1 more win would have had us in Europe, thats how close it was.

we was closer to 3rd, than 12th.

Used Leicester as they are the main team in the top 6 that are seen to have had the most successful season, maybe west ham too.

There’s this thing called a league table

it decides where teams finish, you don’t get bonus points for taking four points off Leicester

Otherwise you get deducted them for losing to Burnley and Sheff Utd

It’s like saying we wouldn’t have lost if the other team hadn’t scored

you clearly dont get it, context.

its like laughing at a team celebrating finishing 3rd in division 4, fireworks, singing at coaches....in isolation, without context!!

I do get it

You saying one win would have got us in Europe

All the other teams above you that missed out on Europe will be saying the same thing

But you took four points off Leicester...

what others say is irrelevant to us, and what we want to achieve.

Leicester is what we want to be doing, so its a valid comparison, they seem to what many fans love to watch.

I’d like us to win the champions league...

What I want us to achieve

Then reality kicks in

It didn’t work with the ‘Hollywood’ manager who fucks off after a couple of years so not sure what you were expecting there

Everton are another Villa who bang on about past glory days but in reality are prem mediocrity

Don’t think I’ve ever met a scouser on holiday so you’ll have to try harder than that

well you seem to know alot about us, and have strong views...strange really.

maybe those at the club should just ask you what they should be doing...

No way is Stevie G taking a step down to go to a smaller club.

Pointing out the holes in your arguments isn’t about having anything against Everton

Don’t mix the two up

and won manager of the year 2/3 times before he went to United.

Moyes is a good manager I think and is now showing it. Think he will prove that his spell at United was just unfortunate In due course personally
