Just seen a couple of replays on Twitter, didn’t look too bad on them. The 1st and only time I’d seen it, thought it was a bit more side on but looks like the Leeds kid made a genuine attempt at getting the ball.

Since when did a ref look at the severity of an injury to decide the punishment?

ludicrous

Not seen it but some Scouser rang in 606 saying initially the ref waved play on, and then sent him off without looking at VAR

It’s happened before. A player sent off for a tackle which resulted in a similar injury. It was later rescinded.  So do PGMOL not use these occurrences to learn from? Why would a similar situation result in a similar punishment?

What’s the betting the FA (or whoever is in charge) rescind the red?
