And Liverpool are the 2nd biggest club in the country behind United

Liverpool turn over Ā£500 million a year compared to Brighton's Ā£150 million because they are a far bigger club.

Their turnover is the main reason for their financial power and expensive squad

Ā

So what is the reason for Everton's net spend and why they are shit?Ā

Don't forget you said Everton haven't assembled an expensive squadĀ

They have, clearlyĀ Ā

Ā

Aye.

They're shopping in different markets.

Perhaps the difference is, one of those teams buys a player to fit into an already good team which makes him look a better player.
Ā

The other team is Everton. They buy a good player, shoehorns him into a poor side, hope he makes the team good, he fails and his saleability suffers.

They did OK with Lukaku, Barklay, Lescott, Rodwell and Stones, oh and Rooney. Moyes and Martinez understood the concept of selling on good players but were before the big-spending Iranian co-owner.

The coverage on BBC at the minute is fucking dreadful, itā€™s like watching on acid.

Cameraman didbā€™t get the memo, ā€œTake a lens cloth with you.ā€

Everton don't spend as much money as Chelsea.

Everton's record signing is Sigurdsson at Ā£40 million

Chelsea's record signing is Lukaku at Ā£97 mlllion. They also paid over Ā£70 million each for Havertz and Ariizabalaga. They have paid Ā£50 million each for Jorginho and Chilwell. They paid Ā£47 million for Timo Werner.

Everton are underachievimg and should be several places higher in the table but don't spend the cash needed to compete with the oil clubs and United

Ā watching the Buxton v Morecambe gameĀ

If this is a typical Stockton performance I hope we give him a wide berth. He looks slow,no control and absolute shite

I'm not watching so can't disagree, but anyone that watched our game at Stockport will think that of our entire team except Santos.Ā  With strikers and creative players, you sign them based on what they can do on their good days, not how they look on bad days (Doyle, Dapo etc).

Clearly a bigger club, but if you're judging by turnover, then you've got a problem.
