its has to stop this, they should be made to play

Agreed. Except the various authorities aren't in charge any more are they ? The giant clubs piss all over anyone they wish.

The Euro Super League idea will return. We all know it. Next time better organised.

Plus Ohara went on to play in the premier league, a cup final and made himself a millionaire.

Joe Mc is trolling footy players in his bedroom.

Kin’ell Gonzo don’t let facts stand in the way of a bit of humour eh.

They can’t change it now. What happens if a side at the bottom is now made to play but the teams around them got a week off.

Nah they set the precedent without thinking things through as per usual. It’ll come to bite them in the arse when they’re asked to play 3 times in a week

Still no mention of Dyche.  They could, and have, done a lot worse.

Perhaps, but he has a reputation for long ball football; a tad unfair, as was the label for big Sam, but such baggage would make him a target for the boo boys before he'd even started.

Aye, I think you're right.  I'm not sure it's a fair reputation for long ball stuff.  He's certainly adept at getting players collectively to outperform the sum of their parts.  It staggers me that Everton were willing to hire Benitez, a faded force with a reputation for irascibility and negative footy but wouldn't consider someone like Dyche with a proven record.

I listened to the post match discussion about Everton on radio 4 yesterday.

Can't remember which ex-player it was, but I was gobsmacked at how condemnatory he was of Benitez.

He said (having obviously played for him) that the Spaniard was horrible to play for, a cold man who didn't talk to players and has no man management skills.

Even the presenter was taken aback.
