Aye just seen that.

I'd read a comment on Google that he'd already gone- seems it was a bit premature.

Surely only a matter of time.

doubt they'd sack him for losing to Utd in the cup

then they play Southampton at home

lose that and they'd be joint bottom unless they get pumped by 4 or more

win and they could be 13th

tighter than a gnats chuff

True, but gradually they seem to be slipping down.

Motd last night explained they spent over £20m on 20 players since the new owner/chairman came in. Loads if dosh and apart from a few they have largely been a disappointment.

More than that, surely?! £20m for 20 players wouldn’t get you a mid table Championship team!

How much have Sheff Utd spent in comparison?

Oh aye, it was just an illustration of how many players they'd bought, and how many of those were over that amount. The list goes back over a few years, but it illustrated the silly money being demanded for ok players, and how much they had frittered on ok players.

Aye, he'll be gone sooner or later

I just can't see what or who could save them this season

Squad seems to be getting worse each season

They always manage to scrape by though via new manager bounce

Good luck to whoever takes that job on

Reckon Dyche would be their best chance

Bournemouth, Southampton and maybe Wolves or Forest could save them.

But its hard to imagine both Lampard and Jones surviving that next league game.
