Hate the shithole.

Parked up on ‘secure parking ‘, came back to a smashed window, briefcase & radio nicked.

Pikey cunts.

Fuck off Tommeh.

no more tower fm

Think I was at uni the same time as Chris Price.

He used to do a sports radio show broadcast to the campus. I emailed in ranting about Nolan being overlooked for the England squad. Probably only me listening to the show!

No idea he was at Tower fm.

First memory of Luton was orange

Adrian Alston

Aussie who, I think, played 74 world cup

And the futchers

All correct. Alston not originally an Aussie though - Preston lad.

When I lived in Wollongong, I played in the local 5 a side competition for around 3 years ('Howzat' sports centre in a suburb called Fairy Meadow) and he had a team in there. Big, bony awkward fucker he was but had slowed down a lot (the ale had got him). Decent bloke off the pitch. Good lad to have a beer with and he had some cracking tales. - especially from the '74 World Cup you mention.

Yep, Luton were orange with white and dark blue trimmings (hence the Clockwork Orange tossers in the Lever End for that FAC tie with the orange sprayed hair).

Remember Ron and Paul Futcher too. Didn't one of em play for City for a while?

They both went to city in 78, not for long though.

I also liked it but from a music point, it lacked a chorus. That was just verse after verse after verse.

A decently written chorus would probably have (eventually) made it onto the terraces as our 'unique' Bolton song, something sadly missing from our home atmosphere.
