Moderators Casino Posted September 16, 2019 Moderators Posted September 16, 2019 Didn't they have about 3 shots to every Norwich one A massive possession and corner advantage, too I reckon theres no crisis, just yet Quote
Moderators Casino Posted September 16, 2019 Moderators Posted September 16, 2019 Not today, but saturday Pretty sure Sunderland had all the stand down the side and the full end But still had less fans than we did at rotherham Quote

I am suggesting that such gaffes at the back presenting Liverpool with a bit of a points lead may well cost City at the other end of the season. Time will tell. Quote

It was notable that the two goals City did get were a cross/header and a shot through the crowd from distance - not your usual playing through defences/tap ins. I was left wondering if other teams might use that as a tactic against City? The issue being if you manage to restrict them to two goals by nullifying their passing game, you still have to score 3 at the other end. Quote

Except the twats at FIFA. I gave it the benefit of the doubt until 3 or 4 games into the World Cup. The penalty decision in the biggest game in world football though finished me off. Get rid of it Quote

Wanderlust Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 I love VAR. Problem is the people interpreting "the truth" have problems with it when it's a close call, the rules are a bit dodgy, the technology can be improved further and the lack of communication between the ref(s) and the fans whilst the decision is being made is piss poor compared to say American Football. VAR is young in it's development but it can only get better, but for the vast majority of decisions it already works fine. Certainly a damned sight better than depending on the ref's eyesight and we should know given our history. Quote

If they're going to use it then use it properly That penalty Napoli got v Liverpool was never a penalty but VAR gave it as it wasnt a clear and obvious error Course it was, he dived. On the flip side spurs goal that was disallowed was incredibly marginal that would never have been spotted with the naked eye If it can be used to pick out the latter why not the former? Quote
Marc505 Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 Proper Coyle job, Solskjaer. Ace to see them just becoming an average premier league team, could be watching Southampton or Everton here. (Sorry Pabs...) Quote
