Liverpool should have been awarded 3 points.

Don’t like them or the munichs but the game shouldn’t have been rescheduled.

Boot the vermin out the league. They can reform as a 3rd splinter club after FCUM and Salford. Bury Reds maybe

Bury St Edmunds more apt.

They both should have been deducted 6pts and the game cancelled.

Is the right answer.

Is there a time limit on investigation into the match fixing they were involved in circa 1910s that saved one of them from relegation?

Cant remember details.

If you can gather the witnesses I'm sure they'll do a Panorama on it.

You may be thinking of 1908-09 when Liverpool escaped relegation on the final day of the season by winning away at champions Newcastle United. This lifted Liverpool  from 19th (of 20) to 16th and relegated Manchester City, who had not been in a relegation spot until then.

Manchester United had won the Fa Cup on the last Saturday of the season (24th April) at which point they were 8th in the league. They then lost the rearranged fixture from that date at home to Arsenal on the 27th and lost the rearranged match from cup semi-final day at Bradford City on the 29th, which lifted BC from 19th to 17th.

The last day in which are clubs played was Saturday 17th, as the Cup Final was on the 24th.

Josh Vela was laughed out of Hibs and told he couldn't cut it in Scotland.  He's just won players and supporters player of the year at Shrewsbury.  I think the SPL is stronger than many of us would believe.

It's such a shit league that they'd have to start throwing matches to lose.
