Mists of time and everything but remember thinking good job it was on a Friday night so papers had been already printed a lot less publicity in them days as well of cours no mobiles etc Few naughty antics on the pitch that night. Yes someone got cracked Quote

gonzo Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Running on the pitch with my Dad v Preston was probably the best moment of my childhood. My lad running on the pitch with me v Forest is probably the best moment of his. Quote

My thought to. The Notts Forest guy was done & dusted inside 2 days. I was very surprised. If it was handled at Magistrate level, and if he pleaded guilty I suppose it can happen. My guess would be that a lawyer advised him to go quick, on full admission to enure a relatively low Court, with limited powers, got it sorted before it became a High Court matter. Quote
Mantra Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 I don't mind pitch invasions but they need to have better briefing for security and players. If there's a chance of a pitch invasion, tell all the players to get to a certain part of the pitch where the stewards can shepherd them to safety. Rather than having the stewards make futile attempts to prevent encroachment. Quote

gonzo Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 Thing is the old days soon as the fans came on the players legged it down the tunnel. Why didnt ref just warn it was full time and to get the fuck out of the way. Why are the players and managers still on the pitch when its a clear safety breach? Quote

Morizio Posted May 20, 2022 Posted May 20, 2022 I met a bird from Fleetwood in middlebrook Nando’s. We got on after eating chicken and had a stroll around the retail park. She quite liked it Laura Ashley, which has now closed down. Then had a coffee in that cafe within the cinema and knocked some teenagers sick after they ear wigged me romantically graphically describing how I was going to knock her back out later on. Bluey powered all night fuckathon💪😎 Quote

Tunnel is t'other side of the pitch from the benches at Palace is it not. So Paddy was taking the quickest route from to the other. Noticed them all shit it and start the classic bouncing and gesticulating of the modern footy knobhead. Quote

Duck Egg Posted May 21, 2022 Posted May 21, 2022 I'm a bit torn over todays match. I've a soft spot for Wycombe since that opening day game pre FV but they're a bunch of cynical gits. Sunderland, massive club who'll probably smash it next season if they miss out this time. It would be awfully funny though if they feck it up again. Quote
Moderators Zico Posted May 21, 2022 Moderators Posted May 21, 2022 Would be funny if Sunderland didn't go up and stay in league one forever But I wouldn't be arsed if they weren't here next season with Alex Neil at the helm And if Ainsworth isn't at Wycombe they may be no great shakes But they "deserve" another crack at the championship after the EFL bummed them over Derby In summary: not arsed either way Quote
