Marc505 Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 There's a road near here called Ambleside that leads to an estate with street names like Windermere Close, Keswick Close, Bowness Close, Elterwater Drive, Tilberthwaite and Ullswater Close. No idea why, but its nice to pick out the road signs on the way to Morrisons. Quote

So Hunstanton,Cromer Sheringham, Trimingham etc. My first place out of my parents was next to Dickie Bird estate in Bury which is one of Bury's sink estates sadly not named after cricket umpires but birds.
