Burnley not bad either but how many times did we suffer like this back in 96/98? Best team, loads of pressure. Undone twice and fuck all to show for it. Yep, we did, although as mentioned below (or maybe above now I type this) they where a bit powderpuff. I don't see Burnley slugging out punches like Luton are doing. Reckon we'll be playing them next season 🤘 Edited December 26, 2023 by auckland_bwfc Quote

They'll wield the axe if deemed necessary. Quote

Dr. Feelgood Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 I just took a perk at the 4th Divion & was delighted to see Salford 4th bottom. Sadly 2 teams look shoo-ins for bottom places but where's there's hope. Quote

Every club employs increasingly technical approaches to the playing side, and you would assume that Brailsford will be looking at that. Quote

One might suggest he's going to need to get a wriggle on if he's to be a League player. I'd be inclined to suggest he'll never feature in a League game for us in the future, unless there was a dramatic crisis. Quote

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted December 27, 2023 Site Supporter Posted December 27, 2023 City aren't themselves for sure. Build up a bit slow, though they have had chances. Seem to have a lack of pace up front, with wide men on the wrong foot not making the pitch wider neither. Not seeing full backs on the overlap. Now Everton have the lead, they are really biting into city in midfield too. Quote
deeane Koontz Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 Maybe wise giving Olise a game for England sharpish. He has a few options! Quote
radcliffe white Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 Everton are giving them a good go here Quote
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted December 27, 2023 Site Supporter Posted December 27, 2023 Much better second half from City. Upped the tempo a bit, and got into the battle. Still took a good effort from distance from Foden to get the first- hope our lot were watching it, and how to keep it down. Quote
deeane Koontz Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 Pickford is a fucking clown. He spent the entire game screeching at his defenders and does that lol Quote

Never stops showing, good engine, super skill and a good little turn of speed. Not a great tackler, but so what! Southgate ought to be getting both him and Bellingham fitting together like a well engineered machine come the Euros. Quote
