I've no feelings towards blackburn whatsoever

not a rival or a derby

It’s another unique aspect to being a Bolton fan, which strangely I quite like,  that we genuinely have fans who consider some clubs to be a rival/derby, yet other wanderers fans aren’t touched by them!

I embrace it all, I love it, adds a bit more passion. I’ve immersed myself in the newest version with Wigan. Even got taken along with the Morecambe debacles last few years.

The Blackpools, Burnleys, Prestons Burys all have a great edge too and I really look forward to them.

The Tranmeres, Wolves relationships still fester with me and is/was/could be prickly,

If we are lucky enough to get alongside our other NW rivals, City, Liverpool, Everton I’d gladly embrace those derbys too.

But for me it’s United closely followed by Blackburn that stand out as the ones top of the tree for rivalry.

I would love to play Blackburn next year, hopefully in the Championship rather than L1.

Are we talking about residence or place of birth?

If we're including the latter, then me too.

Place of birth for me -lived in Bolton for a fair while now too and both kids born in Bolton Hospital. Had to be done.

I think it depends whete you lived. I was Horwich, so Blackburn meant very little to me. Bury were rivals but my uncle played for them.

Preston, maybe but I never felt nasty about it.

Stretford, absolutely, but be rarely played them. Citeh ... meh. When Wigan appeared, yes, hated it.

The Trashmere years, their club, manager & fans created that. May they rot.

Wolves, a trail back to our glory years & their fake use of 'Wanderers'. Plus games always seemed to be important.

Aye get that. I'm going off feel.

I've been in all those grounds mentioned above and non feel like a proper derby day bar Wigan IMO

I'm not exactly a fashion interested person, but they look scruffy. Like a posh chain-gang.

They look scared to death.

Another chance of a trophy virtually gone.

Fail to win the league too and hopefully then implosion post Klopp.

Fuck the scousers.

Alonso's already turned them down and there currently aren't any available world class managers around

The current favourite is the 39-year-old manager of Sporting

A big gamble

Guess that depends on your age , I’m also from Horwich & Blackburn have been & still are a very big rival. In the late sixties they were our main opposition in terms of off-field entertainment. Mainly because both our main rivals were playing at a higher level ie Burnley & The rags. PNE was always a good day out as well but not quite the edge that a visit to Ewood had.

Blackpool was always moody to say the least & I’m talking before the lad got killed. As for City , wrong side of town for me to feel that stressed although beating them was always ace. Think Wiggin have filled a bit of a void but if we play Blackburn anytime in the near future I think they will take back the mantle of our main rival.
