606 this evening

a city fan rings in

he was so angry in the way that only city fans can be

not with the result, but the fact city aren't currently the best

reckons they are injury ravaged and being forced to play kids

reckons Liverpool be nearer the bottom without Salah

it reminded me of city fans when they were angry because they weren't the best team in manchester

it was wonderful to hear

here it is

Some cup draw that

Doubt they'll need an away end at Leeds

Surely every Harrogate fan is a lapsed Leeds fan or supports both

I’m sure they’ll be a knock on but I think the midweeks probably are taking the main impact now.

See Southampton gave their customary goal to opposition again. It must be so frustrating being one of their fans and seeing them do it over and over again.

We know how that feels, even if not quite as frequently.

Was thinking that before. How many have we actually conceeded by fucking about at the back?

Charlton away and Huddersfield home spring to mind.

I'm leaning more to our achilies heal actually being free headers from corners and crosses.

Agreed. We’re not even close to the same boat in terms of their errors at the back, and it wasn’t aimed at that. It was just more a reflection of the stubbornness of the Pep disciples despite the same calamity over and over again at the biggest one of the lot.

They’re doomed but Martin is insistent on protecting his reputation on style of play over everything else. Martin > Southampton. I’d despise the twat if I was a a Saints fan.

What gets me is these Pep disciples, to use your term, refuse to acknowledge the standard of opposition.  So yes Southampton could probably gift a goal to the opposition and win 3-1 in the championship v Cardiff, Preston and Millwall, and he's a great up and coming manager with a footballing philosophy.  Then they play Prem teams and that goal costs points.

They never talk about fixing or changing anything, its all just down to individual errors on the day, "trust the process", "the players will get rewarded for their bravery in the long term" etc.

How many of those crosses have come about as a result of losing possession from inadequately moving it from the back?

Easy to count a direct "passing to an opponent", but how many have come about indirectly?

I reckon there will be quite a few.

Not just this season neither.
