And I can’t be arsed spending the time to find out either. Rather have the Papa John’s. I've got pretty much zero interest in it. Maybe if an English team got to the semis/final then it may change. As soon as the European Cup was wrecked by changing its knock out system, it became of little interest to many. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Not watched a single Champions League match since it moved to terrestrial. Suppose I’d give it a go if it went to Sky, but even then I can’t say it really tickles my fancy. Too many games, too many chances. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Didn't know it was on terrestrial! Meh anyway. Quote
L/H White Posted January 30 Posted January 30 the new format is actually good and very simple if you're not a thicko But, there's 108 teams currently playing in some form of European competition, it's somewhat diluted to say the least Quote
Not in Crawley Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I've enjoyed it much more this year and managed to watch loads more games with it being on Prime etc as I don't have Sky. The change is dead simple and makes it much more interesting. The Uefa cup and that conference league are going the same way. It's one of those rare times that changing a format in football has actually worked. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 30 Posted January 30 The format was much better, and simpler still when it was a straight knock out. Quote
Eddie Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I’ve not watched European football in ages - I think it’s just a case of what’s more relevant (and less time). I reckon my order of interest for football now is League 1 Champ Prem League 2 International European Quote

I like the Nations League format as well Better than friendlies and gives minnows a much more competitive run out and something to play for It meant San Marino won their first ever competitive game and then their first ever away game this season Quote

I don't like all the extra games as a rule, but since they're having them anyway, this is the best way to do it IMO. And the games themselves just seem better than so many domestic games, they don't all seem to be obsessed with possession stats from what I've seen, the aim of the game seems to be to score a goal, as quickly as possible. gonzo Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Don't think I'll ever used to the camera being on other side at Blackburn now Quote

Turf Moor used to show that massive terrace opposite, now its that little subbuteo stand. Luton and Carlisle too. Quote

bolty58 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Watched Bayern Munich play Holsten Kiel last night. An absolute walk in the park for Harry's mob until the 91st minute. Another minute and 4-1 at the ninety minute mark had gone to 4-3 and Bayern were desperately seeking the final whistle. A couple of cracking goals in Gnabrys for Bayern and Kiels first. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 2 Posted February 2 How on earth does that happen in professional football. Quote
