Think it's gone.  Definitely feels like we’ve seen the peak of it (thank fuck). I know we joke about it, but I don’t think it’ll be long until you see a successful team playing with a big man / little man combo up top again. Everything goes in cycles and there’s no reason why it can’t work effectively again. Quote

Once they got into it, they were the better team. Once Arsenal got that second, so soon after the equaliser, City have crumbled.  Quote

gonzo Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Feels like the change of an era this. City don't need players or a rebuild. They need a whole new system. Same as us Quote
Zico Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Kyle Walker making his debut in the Milan derby nice way to start Quote
Wanderlust Posted February 2 Posted February 2 (edited) With Manure getting pumped and despite Spuds winning, it's noticeable that if Wet Spam and Everton win their game in hand they would overtake both pushing Manure and Spuds down to 15th and 16th respectively in the league with only Wolves between them and the drop zone. Luckily for them, the bottom 3 are awful... but if you think City are bad.... Edited February 2 by Wanderlust Quote

Same as us Reminds me of Fergie, when he rebuilt teams. Once past their sell by date, he would refresh it. City have been so consistent over the years, that maybe this was inevitable. Players getting a bit older, whilst other teams work out a means of stopping them. KdB for example- a magnificent player still, but has started to break down a bit with injuries.  Quote
Traf Posted February 3 Posted February 3 It only cost them around 300 pints and was a massive PR success. Plus it was Fosters they gave away. Place looks like one of those soul-less over brightly-lit places. Quote
