I just don't get why teams have to do it all the time. Just mix it up a bit. They said in the radio a few weeks a go there are far more goals in games these days, and a lot of that is due to playing it from the back, and the huge amount of goals it actually creates due to errors. L/H White Posted February 5 Posted February 5 No tinpot pitch invasion from Newcastle Great to see Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I think I would have thrown myself off that top tier tonight if I was an Arsenal fan watching that performance from Havertz......Arteta seems to have a blind spot when it comes to signing strikers. Quote

Duck Egg Posted February 6 Posted February 6 (edited) Liverpool look like they've barely had to get out of 2nd gear. Poor atmosphere though, compared to last nights game. Edited February 6 by Duck Egg Quote

Used to be an old quiz question- What gets taken to the cup final every year but never used? Answer was, of course, the ribbons in the losing team's colours. Some wag in the 70s said 'Malcolm MacDonald'. Quote

His tactics only work when his players are miles better than anyone else or the opponents aren't good enough to punish. That isn't the EPL... Basically the opposite of an underdog manager. Quote

That seems to be keeping him in a job, along with avoiding defeat at Tamworth. Quote

No but I remember them brushing RM aside earlier this season at anfield They won't be facing any of those teams you mention until at least the semi's I don't think I hope Newcastle best then in the league cup final but unlikely and can't see them not winning the league They're looking Very good though under Slot Quote
