The job he had was to get promoted there and he has done it. Wrexham will then have the option to replace him in the championship if things aren't going well.

I'd rather Evatt had done a Parky and focused on getting out of league 1 more than having a championship style team in league one.

Proved himself early doors, but he definitely had the advantage of a superior squad with us, and also with Wrexham.

Certificate did well with what he had to work with, and no argument there.

I'm not so sure he would have done what Evatt did with us though; from absolutely fuck all-not a pot to piss in- to challenging at the top of league one.

He almost ballsed it up and it should never have gone to the last day when he kept us up, but he did

Then he did the best he could when the club was falling apart

We can only go off what we know, He's a good effective manager who gets the job done

Wish he’d done it here. Couldn’t fail to get promoted with that team and wage bill. The next 2 seasons were up there with the worst I’ve seen. Not all his fault but he did nothing to earn his corn.

Largely rational comments early in the season.

Liverpool did well, fair play to them. 

For the majority; whether they want a particular team to win it, they aren't really that arsed.

Their only real focus is the one team they support: the whites.
