Well we’ll take the positives - Huddersfield getting beat.

Hopefully it’s taken something out of Luton.

Shame Peterborough couldn’t have grasped something.

Yes, agreed.

Any top half team that loses 5-0 or whatever always wins their next game (even we did after Stockport), so the positive for me is we weren't on the end of it.

And no chance of underestimating them now, given they go above us if they win.  Big game Saturday.

To be fair Luton were poor tonight but Huddersfield were worse and if we can’t beat these this weekend we want locking up. They won with two freakish goals nothing more, the first a deflected shot that was going wide and the second a masterclass on how not to defend by Huddersfield’s woeful defence and I’m so glad we chose Teddy over Goodman who looks more flaky every time I see him.

Coventry are pissing the championship.

They've scored 47 goals already in 17 games. Incredible. I imagine their fans are absolutely loving watching it

They’ll probably be happy with that after getting tonked five nil by Barnsley at the weekend.

On that note, anyone know when Barnsley’s games in hand are scheduled for?

End of March at least 😁

:D

Suppose we are all guilty of it but the reactionary media is on a different level nowadays isn't it.

Chelsea are winning CL now because they beat a bang average 10 man Barca team with no Gavi, Pedri or Raphinia 🤦‍♂️🤣

That Everton sending off seems a bit harsh. Bet Moyes is raging.

seems he's ok with it

might've been different had they lost mind

Moyes said: “I like my players fighting each other, if someone didn’t do the right action. If you want that toughness and resilience to get a result, you want someone to act on it.

“If nothing happened [no red card], I don’t think anyone in the stadium would have been surprised. I thought the referee could have taken a bit longer to think about it. I was told that [by] the rules of the game that if you slap your own player, you could be in trouble.

“I’m disappointed we got the sending off. But we’ve all been footballers, we get angry with our teammates. He’s apologised for the sending off, he’s praised the players and thanked them for it and apologised.”

You've lost me with the freakish goals!  Two excellent finishes, albeit the first from the edge of the box took a slight deflection, but that happens loads, but it was a well struck shot.  The 2nd was poor defending but we see that from every single team including us, the key is to have some quality to finish it off.

All L1 teams look poor before we play them away, but we usually find out we're poor as well (away).  A win would be our best of the season IMO, not necessarily our best performance but our best 3 points.

These next three games will have us heading into Christmas with real confidence or stumbling into it in a proper Bah Humbug mood. All three tricky tests in their own ways, we need at least one win and a draw out of them for me.

I'm taking Exeter at home as a must-win, and probably will win.  Surely we need more than 1 point from the next 2 before then, we'd be well adrift.  Only 4 points will do, still got some catching up to do.
