enzo gambaro Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 Might be the one of the last times we see an unpunished dive (Luton player) in football. It definitely won't be. Quote
Zico Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/sport/southgate-is-trying-to-change-england-but-the-mentality-is-buried-deep-0vl9b7s5s Xabi Alonso interview, I love stories like this: Alonso is the boy from the Basque country who came to England in 2004, aged 23. His Liverpool debut came in a bruising defeat by Bolton Wanderers. “I remember [after] 15, 20 minutes I think it was a Kevin Nolan tackle, a ‘welcome to the Premier League tackle,’ ” he laughs. “Then there was [Jussi] Jaaskelainen from his kicks, not even trying to pass, just long balls up to Kevin Davies. I said to myself, ‘This is different. OK, Xabi, you want to make it here, become a pro with Liverpool you need to learn fast.’ ” He won the Champions League, unforgettably, at the end of his first season. must've been someone else, Nolan was on the bench http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/3586112.stm I'm not Malcolm, I didn't know this, I just read the match report out of interest Quote
green genie Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Bottom in November, weren't they? Yup. Tidsdale is a conundrum for them. He's best paid manager at that level with three year rolling contract so nobody else will pay compensation to take change on him. He's been lucky to have three very good kids break through this season. Watch out for Ollie Watkins to reach top level and Ampadu also Quote
radcliffe white Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Anyway millwall today for me Bradford better away day by far but those cunts really pissed me off especially after the 2-2 game Quote
Biggish Dave Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Millwall would be easier to finish above next season too Quote
Casino Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Millwall means London bridge Bradford is round the corner and a potential 4k following from both clubs away from home We have Fulham, QPR, Brentford guaranteed but I'd not be shocked if two were midweek Bradfordways will meltdown if they lose I think it's one of those, can't they both lose games I'll watch it as a millwall fan but not be too arsed either way Quote
enzo gambaro Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 I can't be arsed with hating everyone. Some of their lot might think they have a reason to dislike us. I'm not arsed about them but I like their city. Again, fuck Millwall. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Millwall for me Work with four of them and its a short bus ride to their ground Quote
bolton va va Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Millwall for me......I think they're more likely to struggle & be one of 3 teams finishing below us next season, & it's another game in that London when we've got enough in Yarkshire already. That said, it wouldn't bother me if Bratfud came up.... it was a cracking day out last season. Quote
Whites man Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 It will be interesting to see if Bradford change their ticket pricing if promoted. As it stands even with full houses they would be in the bottom 3 for gate receipts but the poor crowd for their play off semi final when "regular" pricing was charged maybe showed they have devalued their product people and folk won't pay what is the going rate elsewhere. radcliffe white Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Can sell 18k at rock all but only 24k for Wembley Quote
Marc505 Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 There's gonna be a whole lotta piss taking about that empty top tier, but I think we're in a glass house we shouldn't be throwing stones from on that one. Quote

Marc505 Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 but we don't wank over how many season tickets we shift every year True, and I did laugh at the telly when I saw it... but I'll not be taking it to twitter! Quote
Lostock Whites Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Bradfords turn out is absolutely embarrassing. Just confirms they have a very small fan base. Only big attendances this year because of cheap tickets. I think we would of definitely have taken 30+k, if we were pushing for play offs all season Quote

radcliffe white Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Don't think we have taken over 25 for a play off final Quote
whiteonwear Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 I think we've only out sold tranmere for our play off finals. We'd have been lucky to take 20k today Quote
