Although I wasn't that old at the time I did manage to get to Madrid and Istanbul, the things I saw will stay with me for the rest of my life, absolutely loved every second of it, sadly I doubt we'll ever be in Europe again.

Haven't you read the book yet? :book:, I remember nearly cacking myself when I got into the ground at Besiktas but then I was only 11 years old, couldn't understand why the police were such c**ts in Madrid, infact if anything it seemed like the police wanted trouble.

Never say never about Europe. I come from a time when I thought we would never see the 3rd round of the FA Cup again, never mind Europe.

If the likes of Wigan, Hull and Swansea can qualify for Europe, there's hope for us yet.

And not forgetting them Stoke twats. We qualified by right through the league. Not by default through a cup win or worst, a cup defeat. And we faired better than all them fookers put together.
