Guest Posted December 9, 2014 Share Posted December 9, 2014 Although I wasn't that old at the time I did manage to get to Madrid and Istanbul, the things I saw will stay with me for the rest of my life, absolutely loved every second of it, sadly I doubt we'll ever be in Europe again. Never say never about Europe. I come from a time when I thought we would never see the 3rd round of the FA Cup again, never mind Europe. We qualified by right through the league. Not by default through a cup win or worst, a cup defeat. And we faired better than all them fookers put together.
