They need to try and attract some fans back for the remaining home fixtures. Most of them will be "nothing games" and arent going to attract fans at normal prices. We need to get some ticket deals on. Get our marketing team to push these deals and try and get people back.

Hopefully that will have a knock on effect on st sales for the season after

I've no problem with that but the club have to protect the price season ticket holders have paid so I'd say minimum price for adults should be £20 and I'm not sure how many extra would turn up at that price. Might be worth looking at adult with kids ticket at £20. Edited by Mounts Kipper

Rather than try to tempt the fair weather jcl back to the club, they should look after season ticket holders better to incentivise people into buying a ticket. I'm not saying go overboard but maybe £1 off a pint/pie every home league game would be a start or weekly draws which gives the winner 2 tickets into LOV for a home game etc.

If buying a season ticket became whole load more attractive, then maybe some fans who do most Saturday home games without getting a season ticket might just be tempted to sign up

I'm with you here.

Season ticket holders get fuck all.

I'm all for getting folk in the ground as sub 12k for home games is pretty poor and is no good for anyone. By all means do some offers for the rest of the season and get folk in,but at least offer season tickets holders something when the time comes.

It seriously is not worth having a season ticket at the minute.

I watch mates without one get free/cheap tickets for nearly every home game. (Not a dig BTW just the way it is).

Have you seen the fixture list for the rest of the season??

I would offer dad and lad tickets for £15 per game for the rest of the season. With £5 extra for any other sprogs

said that for years mate and especially in this league with midweek games it's hard with work commitments etc. The only time a season ticket was beneficial was when we came back up and it guaranteed away tickets.

Problem with money of beer/food is that the money from those sales goes to the concession franchise holder not the club. So it's not as straight forward.

North stand lower think its about 13 quid a game with a season ticket which seems a good deal. Between 22 and 28 for pay on day. With the monthly payment system as well I reckon season tickets are good value at bolton. I don't think 28 quid for a championship game is but its cheaper then a lot. Ultimately the only way to get fans back is win games now.

I think season tickets which include cup games are a good way forward. We get fucking nobody anyway! Or do a 2 year one.....

Weve got a right load of fixtures against mostly southern opposition, and we are playing for mid table now, the only ones who are likely to bring any sort of decent following are Norwich, who have been taking good numbers away this year, Birmingham last day, and Blackpool (maybe, by the time we play them, we could have the honour of sending them through the trapdoor.)

For the rest, the Reading, Charlton, Millwall etc, I dont think that putting tickets on at 20 notes will bring many extra in anyway, maybe 10 quid for one or two of the games would.

I think its something the club should look at long term, difficult thing to manage without alienating the core season ticket support, who I agree should be the first to see any offers.

I wouldnt really say we have one attractive home game left this season. The season is going to peter out.

I just think its a chance for the club to work out some ticket deal and try and get some fans back.

They already offer the football clubs tickets for a tenner and the club only receives £6 per ticket for those sales.

Target the "dads and lads" £15 per game

Free tickets to every school kid in Bolton when accompanied with a paying adult

Atmosphere was shite last night. Good job we got a win or it would have put even more st off renewing.

For the ST Holders... Offer 50 pairs of tickets in LOV from now til the end of the season. Winners bring themselves and one other ST Holder

Good suggestions Horwich. It really should be possible to offer deals which attract new or lapsed fans, without pissing off STHs. I've said before, why don't we reward STHs - with money off next season, or vouchers in club shop, or 20 quid's worth of beer tokens, or whatever - for every fan they manage to bring along with them? But we're not going to attract those new fans by charging £25-£33 to watch Millwall or Reading at home. You'd have to be insane to pay that kind of money on a cold night in Feb, especially if you've decided already that you're not going to get to many matches (and have therefore not bought a ST), for whatever perfectly valid reason.

I know Casino will say we only make 8 quid on average per seat sold or whatever...but for every seat unsold - all 15 thousand of them last night - we're making an average of zero pounds. Plus all the drinks, programmes, parking we don't sell as well.

I also know that other clubs charge ludicrous on the day prices - even League 2 can be 20 quid or so - and this isn't an attack aimed at BWFC...but BWFC is the only club we all care about...and anything that can build crowds and keep NL believing it's worth sticking around for has got to be tried, hasn't it?

I don't get that there is not one decent fixture left think that talk is so negative. This Bolton team are definitely worth coming to watch I am loving watching our home games for the first time in a long time, unfortunately we have a very small hardcore and try as the club might there are 1000s of Bolton fans who cannot be bothered to get their finger out of their arse to support pay money to watch their team it is a sad state of affairs. In fact I am now thinking fuck them don't give them anything off a ticket I would rather sit next to an empty seat.

id guess lennon isnt arsed about building crowds

hes bothered about how much money he ahs to deal with

any anyway, our crowds will grow quick enough if we're winning every week

Disagree. He knows full well how a packed house acts as 12th man - Celtic in Champs League, etc.

He called for the fans to turn out against Liverpool and they did and we had a great evening's entertainment - atmosphere.

We need to do something to entice people back..... and we probably need to look at ways of reducing the ST prices as well.

There's some good football being played at the minute and the fair-weather fans are missing out on this by not wanting to stump up £28 a ticket.

Well i was lost and now Im found.. and I will renew again for 2 next season.

Really started to enjoy it again because i see a group of players and a manager who care. That togetherness of us versus the world under Big Sam was lost and these small shoots of a revival remind me of those times.

I am genuinely enjoying our style of play and seeing some of the younger ones come through. It all bodes well.

For those ex ST holders who lapsed for a bit like me dip your toe back in the for end of the season and see what i mean.

The club definately need to keep ST holders on side with some kind of loyalty award. Fuck knows what though.

We wont entice many people back without offering some deals.

Come on BWFC...lets work hard off the field for NL and the lads..they deserve better than 12500 home fans

Disagree.

fair enough

but he wont build a team without cash

a good team will build crowds quicker than any incentives

It is only going to increase the revenue. Agree with the good team part. Unfortunatly, we havent got a good team yet.
