Youri McAnespie Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Just a bit of blue sky thinking to drum up attendance... Â
Cheese Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 What the club need to do: Keep doing what they're doing.
jules_darby Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Out of interest how much is it for a box or to go corporate and is it tax deductableAnd yet you thought coast to coast was pretentious?!
anewman Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 And yet you thought coast to coast was pretentious?! That is pretentious, fuck me it's like those who go to fannys, let's pay more and be the 'it' mob even though it's half price next door

anewman Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 As if I would get a box up there, a question in general. Fuck me you have really become part of the clique
Ani Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 As if I would get a box up there, a question in general. Fuck me you have really become part of the clique To be fair to anewman, he did ask a general question. Â There is a point if you book corporate as entertaining for a company how much more expensive than a season ticket is it, if you can claim back as tax. .
jules_darby Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Let's not pretend that he wasn't inferring that he was interested. We know he has his own company, hence the tax question

From what the accountant says you can only claim VAT.....

I can't imagine their cocktails are up to much though.
Traf Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I don't think the club are doing enough to integrate the large local Asian community.  If they made the match day experience more attractive them, they could turn out in force.  If you had a section of the ground that was alcohol free and sold halal food and also had some praying facilities for them, they could be encouraged to attend more often. West Stand Lower (North side) is a self contained area that could easily be converted for them.  Get round the primary schools of Daubhill, Deane, Great Lever and Morris Green, offering kids a free ticket, if accompanied by a guardian who pays £10. You'd soon fill the ground.
Carlos Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Corner of the North and East facing Mecca. Job's a gud 'un.

no balls Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Maybe they don't want to. I'm not sure I'd be 'welcomed' in some of the past times they get involved in. Each to their own.
Cheese Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I'm a Marsologist, so unless they incorporate an area of the ground for me to shove probes up peoples' arses, catering to other religions is absolute discrimination.

Traf Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Maybe they don't want to.  Shouldn't we explore every avenue of potential revenue streams?
Traf Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 We could sell BWFC prayer mats and taqiyah in the club shop.
no balls Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Shouldn't we explore every avenue of potential revenue streams? not at the risk of positive discrimination, no. What someone's religion or family background is ifuckinrelevant.
