Jealous much?

Lad’s famous for following the same team as we all do and because he’s invited to do a vlog from the World Cup finals he should get a kicking…

Strange!

Sure, but It's bloody odd though to wear an Argy shirt if you're not supporting them

He’s probably been given the shirt to wear as they were very much favourite to win.

Not sure I get that.

Who is going to give him a free shirt- someone wanting to piggy back his account for advertising reasons?

Could work with either shirt surely.

It's rather silly whatever the case as someone could quite easily have dropped him, rightly or wrongly.

Who’s going to give him a shirt? Fucking hell, some fucker has given him return flights, hotels and tickets to every game. Why wouldn’t someone give him a shirt?

Missing the point, for the same reason he could have worn a SA one, it's a rather well off country with a big football interest too.

So why wear it when supporting someone else?

A strange move that one on his part.

It'll get people talking about him (as you've proven).

I think I made the point earlier that Argentina were massive favourites. I imagine if th’Ogden only wears the shirt of the favourite for each game then he’ll be right more often than he’s wrong.

Argentina shirt manufacturer might be interested

Possibly. Would an English man wearing an Argy shirt actually cause sales to rise though? Especially if he ended up with it covered in claret.

I'd imagine he could influence Saudi shirt sales more positively.

To achieve what exactly?

I really have no idea. You said earlier

Talking sells nothing, none of us will buy one. That's the only reason folk are giving him stuff.

OK he might get money for it, but it's a risk doing what he did.

Talking about him gets him more clicks.

That's how advertising works. This is being proven right here.

Pundits talk in glowing terms about Portugal as they've been there or thereabouts for a while.

Generally though, they're tedious to watch.

Ghana not great, but that is expected.

They've improved 2nd half, 2 nice counter attack goals after the Ghana equaliser, but I don't think we've seen the best of them in this game and their performance hasn't been anywhere near what France, England and Spain did.
