He mentioned the fact he was on the bench about 8 times after he said he wouldn't mention he was on the bench.

When he just concentrates on the actual football infront of him he is much better.

Doesn't bother me. Commentators are occasional visitors to my football viewing experience.

Generally, I don't mind him, but he does have a habit of going overboard on some people at times.

The amount of spunk flying around for Brazil, Neymar & Mbappe aver the past 48hrs it's amazing we all haven't drowned. They are all at it. Tyldesley is no worst.

Brazil v Portugal int semi?

Brazil will win easy. Their Samba and Merengue are on point since Bruno Toniolo stepped down from Strictly to coach them.

How many French players get into England’s starting X1?

None as they don't qualify, being French and that

Might be me liking Barca, but since he turned around the boos last season (boos actually only last about 20 mins in his comeback game from injury and looked like he wasn't signing a new contract)  Dembele as been very good if not excellent, though can have games were he doesn't show up like in some of the big champions League games this season, he's the most two footed player I know, of course Saka is in great form, bit of a toss up on that right side

Mbappe, Varane and possibly Tchoumameni for Henderson (who's playing really well) not much in the left back position either, Kounde as a cb too.

Would you take a not injured Kante over Rice? a Pogba over Hendo/Bellingham? Benzema over Kane?

Reflects my thinking; international quality all over the park, but we don’t have anything to match Mbappe and so should keep him at arms length/ out of the way, if possible. We might have better depth in attacking positions, esp over 120 mins?

Already getting WC withdrawal symptoms and getting a bit cheesed off with the media obsessing about Mbappe as if he's the only threat in the French team. Hate Griezman but he's playing well as is Rabiot but my worry is if Dembele has a good game because he's unstoppable when he does - which isn't often TBF. Our defence is going to have to play out of their skins and the strikers will need to be ruthless to win this.

Wonder what they're saying about England players on the French forums?

Also this from an idiot who can't count to 8:
