😂 not at all, very surprised they’ve got this far with an ageing squad that still relies to heavily on Modric! They look pretty clueless going forwards (and would have taken advantage of the Brazilians deciding there’s no need for a midfield if they had any attacking ability) but they are organised and know how to defend - with a keeper that’s playing out of his skin (I’ll admit I have know idea which club he plays for).

Interesting write up of some of the experiences at the tournament here, overall impression is that it's a tournament for rich tourists in the main.

I think "doing" tournaments is a rich man's game really, even more so next time across 3 countries. Euros could be different in 2024 though, there will be all sorts piling into Germany on overnight trains!
