Mike Hunt Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Reckon he will get charged? "You moan about the standard of refereeing in the Premier League, you want to see it down I. The Championship. That tonight was appalling" He's right, but he will get done for being right. Barry Knight-esque Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 The fat cunt got every single decision wrong tonight. Offered no protection to any of the players. Quote
Guest Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Reading players bullied him. I think they should be investigated for their behaviour tonight. Quote
matty2094 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 NL: "We should have changed the referee at half time. We should have dragged someone out of the crowd to do it." Quote
matty2094 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Steve Clarke: "I'm sure he (Neil Lennon) mentioned the referee's performance. I'll second it" Quote
snowball Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 If the Referee's Assessor hasn't got something to say about that and doesn't mark him down the system stinks. If a ref makes honest decisions that are wrong that's one thing, he lost control of the game entirely and let them referee it. The worst referee ever at the Reebok bar none. He was like a throwback to the 70's when skilful players could be kicked out of a game and nothing done about it. They took dead balls from wherever they wanted, even took throw in that wasn't theirs when ref had given it to us!, encroached on our free kicks every time, basically took piss and he let them get away with it. pato Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 The shirts in the first half was just embarrassing, surely Reading had played in them away shirts before. We need an enforcer in midfield for this division or we will get kicked out of it Quote
MickyD Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Reading player stood a yard from the ball so Bolton player kicked it straight at him. Ref said take it again. Automatic booking for not retreating 10 yards isn't it? Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Steve Clarke: "I'm sure he (Neil Lennon) mentioned the referee's performance. I'll second it" Fuck steve Clarke he sent his team out to spoil, push pull, scratch and moan for everything he must be one horrible fella. I shall be watching Reading and enjoying every failure, horrible cunts. Quote
MickyD Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 My guess is he came with a game gameplan. Rough the short arses up a bit. Quote
ianofcleveleys Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Was like watching one of Warnock's sides of old, or a Mourinho side minus any talent. Looked exactly that game plan to me, Lennon knew it, ref was oblivious. We are lightweight for this League atm but no excuse for teams being allowed to shove, push, grab and kick and otherwise cheat their way to a point as they were last night Quote
burndenpaddock Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Lenny starts his interview “I’ve got to be careful about what I say….” and then launches in to a 2 minute ref-bashing tirade. Love his honesty to bits! He rightly looked pissed off with the refereeing performance and the fact we conceded another late goal. Previous incumbents would be taking the positives out of the performance. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 You can see he is really ticking in that interview. Hopefully burned his adrenaline on a punch bag or he won't have slept much Quote
gonzo Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 You can see he is really ticking in that interview. Hopefully burned his adrenaline on a punch bag or he won't have slept much I'd put money on him wading into a few cans when he got in to sort that out. Quote

I shall be watching Reading and enjoying every failure, horrible cunts. This. Reading were sent out deliberately to bully the ref and to put us off our game any way they could - pushing, pulling, kicking, stealing yards at throw-ins, stopping our free-kicks being taken and the rest. When a team stoops to that, they & their manager are fookin desperate. Quote
Walkden26 Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Like being on Arsenal forum this. They came with a gameplan and it worked. The way the books will show it is we both got a point. Should have give it them back and stop moaning. Quote

Should have give it them back and stop moaning. I agree to an extent. We're soft. We let a big cynical Reading side with physical players bully us at times. And we let Forest do the same if we're honest. We have too many small players and are going to struggle to compete unless we add some physicality. Even Lennon has said this. I don't think anyone should complain about how Reading played because it is just how teams complained about us under Allardyce. The way they behaved to the ref though is something that was unacceptable. Quote
Casino Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 i dont agree at all the injury to wheater was nowt to do with them cloughs was a freak, but if he hadn't been fouled he wouldn't have got hurt the foul on mcnaughton was not far short of an assault and should have been a red on its own the fella was a cockend and im not happy spending 8 quid agame for it to be ruined by twats like them 3 Quote
