Site Supporter MickyD Posted March 24, 2015 Site Supporter Share Posted March 24, 2015 Just been out watching an Irish premie league game. Fucking woeful. It was like watching two pub teams clog each other on a Sunday morning. Crowd was 2934 I think.

Site Supporter Alf Hartigan Posted March 30, 2015 Site Supporter Share Posted March 30, 2015 I've been to Cork a few times and always use the river as my guide home when pissed, but it forks into two rivers before the city centre, and I always pick the wrong one and end up asleep in a doorway, three times this has happened. Site Supporter MickyD Posted March 31, 2015 Author Site Supporter Share Posted March 31, 2015 Only in Ireland, the taxi driver shows us some interesting laces on the journey between airport and hotel. He was doing OK until we got to the river inn the city centre. "This big is where they fished the body of a suicidal lad two days ago. Really decked the town centre traffic up!" The day of the Cork game I'd asked the receptionist at the hotel which bus and where to get on it. She looked on line and turned the screen around to show me. I kid you not, it said 203 from St Patrick's Street. Buses are every 20 minutes, next one is in 24 minutes. She never even raised an eyebrow.
