Sweep
I hope he gets a chance at Arsenal, and doesn't just get loaned out. Must be an absolute dream move for the lad
Eavesy
That match v mk Dons at home. Quality performance. Almost scored after starting in his own half and taking on 4 or
The Wanderer
All the best rob lad. Took my lad to a meet and great with the players in April for his birthday. I couldn't believe how nervous Zach clough and rob holding were. Put into perspective they're only kids. He must be absolutely buzzing. Youri McAnespie
Needs must, we were in a corner regarding money and I hope the lad does well, but it's another chapter for the Bargain Basement Bolton Book imo, the photo made me a bit queasy in fact... This 100% Grant Fucking Hanley goes for 6 million and he's a cart horse it was inevitable move but £2 million beggars believe in today's market I'm devastated feel like we're a carcass awaiting vultures to pick us to the bone. Dan.m
Almost a bit gutting seeing him in an Arsenal shirt but fair play to him.
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted July 22, 2016 Site Supporter Share Posted July 22, 2016 There's a right way and wrong way of going about getting your dream move - the Holding way or Stubbs way. Good on him and to be fair, he deserves to develop at a higher level than league

kent_white
For Arsenal yes not for us. I don't know - £2,000,000 in the bank means a lot to us at the moment. Especially for a player who is out of contract in less than 12 months.  You need a lot of things in order to get out of this league - and I'd argue that a relatively inexperienced ball playing central defender at 20 years old is pretty far down the list. radcliffe white
For Arsenal yes not for us.kent is right, if some of the money is invested then fine. Outstanding talent but it's not bad considering he was part of a defence that shipped pure goals and finished rock bottom.

radcliffe white
If be very surprised if any money is invested in player fees.trying to be optimistic even half would go some way, I do think that offer which is just too good to turn down for clough is coming soon???? Sweep
If be very surprised if any money is invested in player fees. It'll be used to pay Amos and Davies wages....
Sweep
trying to be optimistic even half would go some way, I do think that offer which is just too good to turn down for clough is coming soon???? He's the next obvious one out of the door, and I'd expect a similar sort of fee for him.  Only 6 months ago people were saying they would be finished with the club if we didn't get at least £5M for him, I wonder if they still feel the same. Youri McAnespie
Can somebody just nick Mark Davies, ride him ragged around some council estates and then burn him out on some playing fields at the end of the night?

Moderators Horwich Posted July 22, 2016 Moderators Share Posted July 22, 2016 It pretty much matches Reems sale to Fulham. That was used for wages aswell.
Sweep
seen already people kicking off over holding fee! They're can kick off all they want. It's not them that have to pay the wages to keep the club afloat
