Eavesy Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 We can use the cheapskate trophy to test Honeyball, Samizadeh etc to see what level they are up to We had that philosophy for the last 10-20 years and no one got a chance. Â Then we had a transfer embargo / money stopped, suddenly gave players a chance and sold someone to arsenal Quote
The Wanderer Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Good signing that. We desperately need a striker now. Quote

Kane57 Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Who the fuckin hell is honeyball? Promising centre half from the reserves. Quote
Site Supporter barryk32 Posted August 10, 2016 Site Supporter Posted August 10, 2016 My Wigan mate says he's shit but would rather have kept him and played him in net instead of 'That shit ginger cunt'. Quote
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted August 10, 2016 Site Supporter Posted August 10, 2016 There are levels of shitness, he surely isn't quite as bad as Moxey? Quote
Take Hunt Off Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) Moxey can be really dire but gets no cover in front of him maybe he will play Taylor (Andy) front of him as per rightside on Saturday. Four fullbacks starting (five if you include Vela) would seem negative but won't matter if we bring the points back from Wimbledon. Edited August 11, 2016 by Take Hunt Off Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 When's Clough going to return? Or are we just waiting for a bid for him. Quote
Eavesy Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 When's Clough going to return? Or are we just waiting for a bid for him. Will be starting this weekend Quote
Blondi Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 We still badly need a speedy winger and a goal poacher, the latter will be the hardest to find. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 We still badly need a speedy winger and a goal poacher, the latter will be the hardest to find. Â A fit Clough would score 20 plus. Quote
birch-chorley Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 A fit Clough would score 20 plus. Generally I'd agree as I'm a big fan of Clough however if we are setting up with 6 / 7 defenders I'm not sure we would create enough chances for him to get north of 20 this season  Should make us defensively solid though Quote
Big E Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 A fit clough would score 20? Â he is never fit Quote
tomski Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Seems quite popular to rag our prospects again atm. As said earlier to freak shoulder injuries. I think he will have a great season if he stays Quote
Take Hunt Off Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 According to Iles a championship club have made two offers for Vela & a third is expected soon. Apparently he wants to stay . Are we bothered ? Is there still 'potential' in the lad or is what we see now the end product. Quote
Blondi Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Not too fussed if Vela goes tbh, if we get a reasonable fee and if it means we can bring in a couple more players, I'd be happy with that. Quote
kent_white Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 He's treated water for the past couple of seasons but then he's been part of an awful team. Unless there's decent money coming in I'd prefer to keep him and see how he develops in a team that's winning a few games. Quote

Blondi Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 According to a couple of sites on Twitter, it's Wigan that want Vela. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Vela he's a top player in the making well worth 2 million.???? Quote
