birch-chorley Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) If he comes really good at Arsenal then I doubt they would sell him even if it's £50m on the table He will either stay there or leave for free in that scenario A second tier team such as Everton, West Ham or Southampton would have been better as we would have a better chance of him going for a bigger fee further down the road (IF we have a sell on fee and IF he comes good) Edited August 21, 2016 by birch-chorley Quote

Naytch Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 I'd be gutted if we lost Spearing. He could be the key man this season, looks top quality in this league and is crucial for us Quote

Blondi Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko 2m2 minutes ago Bolton. Don't expect any ins without outs. And u don't really want to lose Vela or Spearing while you're winning ... Quote
jules_darby Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Should? They are! They're not though are they. So far so good but ripping arseholes we are not Quote
tyldesley_white Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Should? They are! Saturday first half Spearing was at least making himself available without doing much, Davies was should we say anonymous Quote

Farrelli Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Spearing ran the show at Bristol Rovers and scored a great goal. He also scored a belter against Sheff Utd. His influence on the team is immeasurable. Davies is at least showing some consistency but hopefully there is more to come. Quote
Big E Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Davies will provide no consistency. he has stolen a living for years. "on his day" just fuck off. this cunt nearly let us go to the wall and produces no more than the likes of moxey who gets absolutely slated. Quote

Farrelli Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 In reply to Big E, I agree with your sentiment re MD, however, as he is likely to remain here for the time being it is at least encouraging that he is playing and contributing. However, my main point was to highlight that Spearing is playing as well as he ever has for Bolton. Long may it continue. Quote

Big E Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 i haven't seen anything warranting his place considering he is playing in the 3rd tier of english football. Quote

Anderson Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 i haven't seen anything warranting his place considering he is playing in the 3rd tier of english football. I agree, thought he was off the pace for much of the game and his physicality makes him a passenger at times. If we're going to persist with this diamond formation I'd have Clough at the head of it when fit, feel he offers more going forward and has bulked up a bit this season. With Proctor/Woolery and Madine ahead of him he'd get assists for days. (Appreciate none of this matters whilst he's made of glass and dry spaghetti) Quote
Ani Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Top of the league and still fuckers are moaning about MD and others Glad someone has said that. Team game and team is 100%. No one expected such a good start, and winning away from home and coming back in games. Second half Mavies and Spearing were good, Vela came more into the game. Parkinson teams at Bradford improved as the season went on. We can either sit and slag individuals off (can not blame them as won every game) or get behind the team. I am not biggest fan on Mavies but whilst he is playing in a winning team no need to get on his back. Quote
