Maggie Tate
And other than Jim Laker, who is the only bowler to feature twice on the top ten innings bowling performances for England list? No cheating.

Maggie Tate
Lohmann? Not a bad guess, but not the one. My bloke played only two seasons in first class cricket, the rest of the time was selected from clubs or the Minor Counties.

Barnstoneworth White
Just heard on the commentary that Bazid Khan, the Pakistani commentator, played in the Bolton League and Association, anyone know who for? A search of wiki etc told me nowt. By the way, going out to Dubai on Wednesday, and intend to watch the first day on Thursday - missus permitting - taking the Ant Hil Mob flag out - again missus permitting, and if there's room in the case. MalcolmW
Cheers Malc. Any idea who in played for in the proper league? I don't think he did. Apart from A&T he played for Standish and also Spring View. Not as good as his father (Majid Khan). His grandfather played for India before partition. MalcolmW
England's 9-10-11 scored 29 off 9.3 overs this morning. Second innings sloggers took 74 off 11 with a target. Time-wasting was less than subtle, but no doubt England would have done similar.

Hopefully gives us the momentum for the rest of the series. A win over there would be huge.
